FOR INSTITUTIONS

For Institutions

An institution account lets a school or district manage teachers, licences, and branding centrally, alongside everything teachers already do individually on edu.games.

What an institution account does

An institution account belongs to a school or district administrator. It groups your teachers into one organisation, lets you license games institution-wide, gives read-only visibility of every licence, and can carry your own branded subdomain.

Getting started

Create an account at institution.edu.games, choosing the Institution role and entering your school or district name. Your organisation is created automatically on first sign-in.

Inviting teachers

From Teachers, enter each teacher’s email. They receive a single-use invitation link tied to that address, valid for 7 days. Teachers must hold (or create) a teacher account with the invited email; accepting adds them to your institution without affecting their classes or existing licences. You can revoke pending invitations and remove teachers at any time.

Institution-wide licences

From Browse Games, buy a seat pool priced per seat per year (auto-renew by default). Seats are consumed by distinct students of any teacher in your institution, first-come first-served, and the game appears on those students’ dashboards automatically. The Licences page shows your institution pools alongside pools your teachers bought individually.

Branded subdomain

From Settings, claim yourschool.edu.games — included free with your institution account. It serves a landing page with your institution’s name and a sign-in that takes teachers and students to their usual portals.
